Albany State University is a four-year state-supported, historically black university (HBCU) located in Albany, Georgia. It is one of the three HBCU in the University System of Georgia. According to U.S. News & World Report, ASU ranks number 26 out of 81 at the top of the review of undergraduate education at HBCUs. It is classified as a school for 1st-level list. ASU from its place of No. 26 with Alcorn State University. Albany State offers undergraduate and graduate liberal arts and professional degree programs. Albany State offers over 30 undergraduate programs and six advanced degrees.The university also offers Board of Regents program "transfer and engineering dual degree program in engineering with Georgia Tech.
